Muzzleloader season is November 27th through December 9th and the cost for a muzzleloader license is $14.00.
The last Grange meeting of the year is Tuesday, December 5th at 5:00 p.m. at the Parkman Grange Hall. All are invited to attend.
The Planning Board will meet on Thursday, December 7th at 6:00 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
SANTA IS COMING TO THE PARKMAN GRANGE: On Saturday, December 9th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there to hear the kids’ wishes, take pictures, and hand out gifts. There will be six easy little crafts to make for presents to give to family or friends. Christmas cookies and cocoa with marshmallows will be served. In the spirit of Christmas and giving, this party is a gift to the community from the Grange. The Parkman Grange is located at the corner of State Hwy 150 and North Dexter Road.
The Parkman Trailblazers Snowmobile Club will meet on Tuesday, December 12th at 6:00 p.m. in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office.
The Board of Selectmen will meet on Thursday, December 14th and Thursday, December 28th at 5:30 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
The distribution for the SAD #4 Santa Project will be on Sunday, December 17th from 10:00 a.m. to Noon at the Parkman Grange Hall. Please note that the Parkman Grange Hall will be closed for the winter after the distribution. They will re-open in March of 2024 for the annual Town Meeting.
SAD #4 Christmas break: Last day before break is a half day, dismissal at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 21st. School will resume on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
The Parkman Town Office will be CLOSED on Friday, December 22nd and Monday, December 25th in observance of Christmas.
The Parkman Baptist Church holds worship services every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome to attend. They will have a candlelight Christmas Eve Service on Sunday, December 24th at 6:00 p.m.
The Transfer Station is open Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to Noon. Please have your Transfer Station sticker available to show the attendants.
White’s Family Redemption is open Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. They are closed on Sunday and Monday. They are located on the Crow Hill Road in Parkman. Hours are subject to change, so please call ahead to 876-2681.
Proof of insurance is required to register all vehicles. The Town Office accepts electronic proof of insurance, or you can have your insurance agent email proof to townofparkman@yahoo.com.

Just a friendly reminder that all dogs six months and older must be licensed by January 31, 2024, or a state mandated 25.00 late fee will apply. The fee for a male/female is 11.00, and $6.00 for a spayed or neutered dog.

As of October 1, 2023, all 2023 unpaid property taxes are accruing interest at 8%.
The 2024 snowmobile registration and stickers are now available. The fee is $60.00 for residents, and $124.00 for non-residents. If you are registering your snowmobile for the first time, please bring in a bill of sale or proof of sales tax paid from a dealer at the time of registration. Snowmobiles DO NOT require a title.
The Sangerville Food Cupboard (Universalist Unitarian Church) is open the first and third Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. All are welcome. They are located at the corner of Church and Main Street in downtown Sangerville. For more information, please call 277-4221.
If you need a certified copy of a birth, death, or marriage certificate please call ahead to the Parkman Town Office at 876-3730. The fee is $15.00 for one copy, and $6.00 for any additional copies of the same record requested at the same time.
When doing a private sale, if there are two names on the prior title you must have both signatures on the back of the title to register the vehicle. If you are doing a title in two names at time of registration, both parties must be present to sign the title in front of the clerk.
New Title Law: Vehicles that are 26 model years and older will be exempt from the requirement for a certificate of title (1997 and older).

The fiscal year for the Town of Parkman ends on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. Property taxes unpaid at that time will appear in the annual Town Report. Any request to the Selectmen for articles in the warrant for the Annual Town Meeting must be received by the close of business on January 31, 2024.
