Muzzleloader season is November 28th through December 10th and the cost for a muzzleloader license is $14.00.
ATTENTION: The little winter sand shed by the old barn at the Parkman Town Office is for Parkman residents only. Please limit sand to 2 five-gallon buckets per storm. Thank you!
The last Grange meeting of the year is Tuesday, December 6th at 5:00 p.m. at the Parkman Grange Hall. All are invited to join.
The Board of Selectmen will meet on Thursday, December 8th and Thursday, December 22nd at 5:30 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
SANTA IS COMING TO THE PARKMAN GRANGE: On Saturday, December 10th from 1:00 p.m.to 3:30 p.m. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there to hear kids wishes, take pictures, and hand out gifts. Hot cocoa and Christmas cookies will be served. Tables will be set up with simple, easy crafts to make and give to family and friends or keep.
The Parkman Trailblazers Snowmobile Club will meet on Tuesday, December 13th at 6:00 p.m. in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office.
The SAD #4 Santa Project is underway. This program provides a warm winter coat, boots, and toys to eligible children in our area. An angel tree is set up at KC’s Country Store where you can pick out a star with a child’s request and shop for that. Donations can be made by check to the Parkman Grange, PO BOX 114, Guilford, ME 04443, memo line: Santa Project. The distribution will be on Sunday, December 18th, from 10:00 a.m. to Noon at the Parkman Grange Hall.
SAD #4 Christmas break starts Wednesday, December 21st through Monday, January 2nd. School will resume on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.
The Parkman Town Office will be CLOSED on Friday, December 23rd and Monday, December 26th in observance of Christmas.
The Transfer Station is open Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to Noon. Please have your Transfer Station sticker visible to the attendants inside of your vehicle. The Transfer Station will be open on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
As of October 1, 2022, all 2022 unpaid property taxes are accruing interest at 4%.
Just a friendly reminder that all dogs six months and older must be licensed by January 31, 2023, or a state mandated $25.00 late fee will apply. The fee for a male/female is $11.00, and $6.00 for a spayed or neutered dog.

Proof of insurance is required to register all vehicles. The Town Office accepts electronic proof of insurance, or you can have your insurance agent fax proof to 876-9704 or email proof to townofparkman@yahoo.com.
If you need a certified copy of a birth, death, or marriage certificate please call ahead to the Parkman Town Office at 876-3730. The fee is $15.00 for one copy, and $6.00 for any additional copies of the same record requested at the same time.
The Sangerville Food Cupboard (Universalist Unitarian Church) is open the first and third Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. All are welcome. They are located at the corner of Church and Main Street in downtown Sangerville. For more information, please call 277-4221.
The 2023 snowmobile registrations and stickers are now available. The fee for a renewal is $56.00, and $57.00 for new registrations. The Town of Parkman participates in the MOSES program for all recreational licenses and atv’s, boats, and snowmobiles. You must bring in a valid driver’s license or unexpired State ID and vin number of previous registration. If you are registering for the first time, please bring in a bill of sale or proof of sales tax paid from a dealer at the time of registration. Snowmobiles DO NOT require a title.
White’s Family Redemption is open Tuesday through Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. They are closed Sunday and Monday. They are located on the Crow Hill Road in Parkman. 876-2681. Please note that they will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

The Parkman Baptist Church holds worship services every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome to attend. They will have a candlelight Christmas Eve Service on Saturday, December 24th at 6:00 p.m.
The members of the Parkman Grange would like to thank you all for supporting them this year. Whether you dropped off returnable at the Transfer Station, attended the Mother’s Day Tea, Daddy Daughter Dance, suppers, bought a raffle ticket, or donated to the Santa Project it is appreciated.

The fiscal year for the Town of Parkman ends on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. Property taxes unpaid at that time will appear in the annual Town Report. Any requests to the Selectmen for articles in the warrant for the annual Town Meeting must be received by January 31, 2023.
When doing a private sale, if there are two names on the prior title you must have both signatures on the back of the title to register the vehicle. If you are doing a title in two names at time of registration, both parties must be present to sign the title in front of the clerk.
