The Planning Board will meet on Thursday, September 1st at 6:00 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
The Parkman Town Office will be CLOSED on Monday, September 5th in observance of Labor Day.
The Parkman Grange will meet on Tuesday, September 6th at 5:00 p.m. at the Parkman Grange Hall. You are invited to see what they are all about. Please contact Sue for more information at 277-3942.
The Parkman Town Office will be CLOSED on Wednesday, September 7th and Thursday, September 8th so staff can attend an Elections Training.
The Parkman Trailblazers Snowmobile Club will meet on Tuesday, September 13th at 6:00 p.m. in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office.
The Board of Selectmen are accepting bids for Snow Plow Contract for the Town of Parkman. Each bid must be in writing and in a sealed envelope marked “SNOW PLOW BID” on the outside. All bids must be received by the Selectmen no later than Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. Late bids will not be opened or considered. Description of contract is available at the Town Office.
The Parkman Grange is planning a meal to support veterans on Saturday, September 17, 2022. Menu and time to be announced.
The Board of Selectmen will meet on Thursday, September 15th and Thursday, September 22nd at 5:30 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
Mark your calendar: Time capsule will be buried at the Parkman Town Office on Thursday, September 29th at 6:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend. Please continue to bring items for the time capsule to the Parkman Town Office or drop them off at KC’s Country Store. The deadline for items is Tuesday, September 27, 2022.
All unpaid 2022 property taxes begin accruing interest of 4% on October 1, 2022.
The Transfer Station is open Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to Noon. Please note that Wednesday, September 28th will be the last day the Transfer Station will be open on Wednesdays this year. Please have your Transfer Station sticker visible to the attendants inside of your vehicle.
Building permits are available at the Parkman Town Office.
Proof of insurance is required to register all vehicles. The Town Office accepts electronic proof of insurance, or you can have your insurance agent fax proof to 876-9704 or email proof to townofparkman@yahoo.com.

The Sangerville Food Cupboard (Universalist Unitarian Church) is open the first and third Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. All are welcome. They are located at the corner of Church and Main Street in downtown Sangerville. For more information, please call 277-4221.
If you need a certified copy of a birth, death, or marriage certificate please call ahead to the Parkman Town Office at 876-3730. The fee is $15.00 for one copy, and $6.00 for any additional copies of the same record requested at the same time.
The Town Office still has Bicentennial merchandise for sale: mugs, tote bags, t-shirts, hooded sweatshirts, Bicentennial books, long sleeve t-shirts, and koozies. Come get yours while supplies last.

White’s Family Redemption is open Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., closed Sunday and Monday. They are located on the Crow Hill Road in Parkman. They will continue to take drop offs outside of these hours, but please call to ensure someone is available. They can be reached at 876-2681.
When doing a private sale, if there are two names on the prior title you must have both signatures on the back of the title to register the vehicle. If you are doing a title in two names at time of registration, both parties must be present to sign the title in front of the clerk.
The Town of Parkman participates in the MOSES program for all recreational licenses and atv’s, boats, and snowmobiles. You must bring in a valid drivers license and vin number or previous registration for atv’s, boats, and snowmobiles when coming in to register these. If you are registering for the first time, please bring in a bill of sale or proof of sales tax paid from a dealer at the time of registration. For boats, registration fee is based on length of the boat and horsepower.
The fee for a marriage license is $40.00. Marriage applications are valid 90 days from issue. Both the bride and groom must sign the application in the presence of a clerk at the Parkman Town Office. If this is not your first marriage, please bring in a copy of your divorce decree or a death certificate when completing the application. Please note that you must call the Parkman Town Office at 876-3730 to schedule an appointment to obtain your marriage license.

The Town of Parkman will have a Fall Clean-up Day on Saturday, October 8th. There will be NO CHARGE for DEMO at the Transfer Station that day.
The Historical Society will tentatively meet on Sunday, October 23rd at 2:00 p.m. at Sue Griffith’s home at 433 North Dexter Road. More information will be available in October’s edition of Parkman News.
The Parkman Grange has gun raffle tickets available for purchase at the Parkman Town Office, KC’s Country Store, Guilford Hardware, and Herring Meat Market. Tickets are $10 each and the winner will be announced at the Hunter’s Supper in November. Limited tickets, get yours before they are gone.
