The Planning Board will not meet this month.
The Parkman Town Office will be CLOSED on Friday, July 2nd and Monday, July 5th in observance of Independence Day.
The 2021 tax bills will be mailed on June 30, 2021. There is a 2% discount on tax bills paid in full within 30 days of postmark (Friday, July 30, 2021). Interest of 6% will begin accruing October 1, 2021.
The Board of Selectmen will meet on Thursday, July 8th and Thursday, July 22nd at 6:00 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
The Bicentennial Committee will meet on Monday, July 12th at 6:00 p.m. in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office. All are welcome to attend this meeting on planning the 200th Birthday Celebration for the Town of Parkman.
Giddy-Up Junction: Taking God’s Love to New Frontiers—The Parkman Baptist Church will be holding their annual Summer Bible Club beginning Thursday, July 15, 2021, and continuing each Thursday through August 12, 2021. This is a free program for children ages 5 to 12 years old. Under 5 years old are welcome with an adult. There will be Bible stories, fun songs, crafts, exciting drama, games, and yummy snacks each week. For more information or to register, please contact Yvonne Davis at 717-5929.
Congratulations to Zachary Standish, the winner of the Art Contest for the Bicentennial Committee! Zachary’s amazing art will be the cover for the 2022 Calendar, the 200th book, and all the merchandise sold to celebrate 200 years of local history.
The Bicentennial Committee has tickets for purchase for a one of a kind personalized .17 HMR Henry Golden Boy gun. There is a limited supply of 500 tickets. Tickets are $10.00 each and are available at the Parkman Town Office, KC’s Country Store, Herring Brothers, and from Tricia Elderkin. The drawing will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021, following a Hunter’s Supper and Pie Auction.
The Transfer Station is open Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to Noon. Please have your Transfer Station sticker visible to the attendants inside of your vehicle. If you do not have a sticker, please contact the Town Office at 876-3730. They are free of charge.
Building permits are available at the Parkman Town Office.
White’s Family Redemption is open Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and closed Sunday and Monday. They can be reached at 876-2681 and are located on the Crow Hill Road in Parkman.
Fire permits can be obtained at KC’s Country Store from Pam Sukis: 876-4111, and from Danny White at 85 Crow Hill Road: 876-2681.
ATV registrations and stickers are available at the Parkman Town Office. The fee for a renewal is $46.00, and $47.00 for a new registration. Non-resident fee for a renewal is $91.00 and $92.00 for a new registration. ATV’s DO NOT require a title. If you are registering an ATV for the first time, please bring in a bill of sale or proof of sales tax paid from a dealer at the time of registration. We need the color of the ATV and your Driver’s License or an unexpired State ID at time of registration. This is a requirement from Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
Proof of insurance is required to register all vehicles. The Town Office accepts electronic proof of insurance, or you can have your insurance agent email proof of townofparkman@yahoo.com or fax proof to 876-9704.

The Universalist Unitarian Church of Sangerville and Dover-Foxcroft Food Cupboard is open the first and third Wednesday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. All are welcome. They are located at the corner of Church Street and Main Street in downtown Sangerville.

If you need a certified copy of a birth, death, or marriage certificate please call ahead to the Parkman Town Office at 876-3730. The fee is $15.00 for one copy, and $6.00 for any additional copies of the same record requested at the same time.
The Parkman Baptist Church holds worship services every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome to attend.
The fee for a marriage license is $40.00. Marriage applications are valid 90 days from issue. Both the bride and groom must sign the application in the presence of a clerk at the Parkman Town Office. If this is not your first marriage, please bring in a copy of your divorce decree or a death certificate of prior spouse when completing the application. Please note that you must call the Parkman Town Office at 876-3730 to schedule an appointment to obtain your marriage license.
The 2021 Boat Registrations are available. If you are registering a boat for the first time, you will need a bill of sale or proof of sales tax paid at dealer at time of registration. Registration fee is based on length of boat and horsepower. Boats DO NOT require a title. We also need the color of the boat and your Driver’s License or unexpired State ID per requirement of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
The 2021 Any-Deer Permit Application is available online at www.mefishwildlife.com. The deadline for entries is August 17, 2021 by 11:59 p.m. A chance drawing will be held in September.
When doing a private sale, if there are two names on the prior title you must have both signatures on the back of the title to register the vehicle. If you are doing a title in two names at time of registration, both parties must be present to sign the title in front of the clerk.
