The Piscataquis County Republican Committee will hold its biennial caucus on Saturday, March 3rd at the Morton Avenue Gym in Dover-Foxcroft. The meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the doors opening at 8:30 a.m. to allow the registration of new voters.
The Piscataquis County Democratic Committee will hold its biennial caucus on Sunday, March 4th in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office. The meeting will begin at 2:00 p.m. with the doors opening at 1:30 p.m. to allow registration of new voters.
The Parkman Grange will meet on Tuesday, March 6th at 5:00 p.m. at Don Pepin’s home. All are welcome to attend this meeting. To join the Parkman Grange or for more information please contact Sue Manchester at 277-3942.
Remember to Spring Ahead on Sunday, March 11th at 2:00 a.m. Set your clocks ahead one hour.
The Transfer Station is open on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to Noon.
The annual Town Meeting for Parkman will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the Parkman Grange Hall. The Registrar of Voters will be at the Parkman Grange Hall at 10:00 a.m. Please bring your annual Town Report with you to the Town Meeting. The reports will be available by March 9th at the Parkman Town Office, KC’s Country Store, and the Transfer Station. There will be a Town meeting dinner from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., put on by the Grange. Menu will include chicken pot pie, mashed potatoes, beans, a veggie dish, and assorted desserts. Admission for the dinner is by donation.
The Parkman Trailblazers will meet on Tuesday, March 13th at 6:00 p.m. at Jay Marden’s.
Just a friendly reminder that all motorcycles expire March 31st.
The Board of Selectmen will meet on Thursday, March 8th and Thursday, March 22nd at 6:00 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
There will be a free community showing of “The Gospel of John” on Friday, March 16th at 6:00 pm. And concluding on Friday, March 30th at 6:00 p.m. The film is a “faithful and powerful dramatization of Biblical text.” Snacks and water will be provided during intermission.

The Parkman Baptist Church holds worship services every Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome to attend.

The deadline for the online Maine Moose Permit Lottery is 11:59 p.m. on May 15, 2018. To apply please go to www.mefishwildlife.com. The Moose Permit drawing will be held in mid-June.
If you need a birth, death, or marriage certified copy please contact the Parkman Town Office at 876-3730 in advance. If you are getting married and need your marriage license, please call the Town Office to make an appointment.
Proof of insurance is required to register all vehicles. If you do not have your insurance card on you at time of registration you can have your insurance company fax proof of insurance to the Parkman Town Office at 876-9704. The Town Office also accepts electronic proof of insurance.
