The Parkman Town Office will be CLOSED on Monday, September 2nd in observance of Labor Day.
The Parkman Town Office will be CLOSED on Wednesday, September 4th and Thursday, September 5th so the staff can attend Election Trainings.
The Planning Board will meet on Thursday, September 5th at 6:00 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
The Parkman Grange will meet on Tuesday, September 10th at 5:00 p.m. at the Parkman Grange Hall. All are welcome to attend.
The deadline for antherless deer permit recipients to claim and purchase their permits is 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2024. Visit mefishwildlife.com/deerpermit to claim and purchase permits.
The Board of Selectmen will meet on Thursday, September 12th and Thursday, September 26th at 5:30 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
The Parkman Grange awarded six MSAD#4 area college students Minnie Welts Bridge Scholarships of $500 each for the 2024-2025 school year. Winners this year are Anna Zimmerman, Cadence Clukey, Emma Calnan, Elizabeth Kendall, Kendall Kimball, and Hannah Dow. The six 2024 recipients will be celebrated at a Minnie Bridge Scholarship supper on Saturday, September 14th from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Parkman Grange Hall. The menu will include pork loin, potatoes, salads, and desserts. The supper is by donation, and all proceeds will go to the Scholarship Fund for future awards. Minnie Welts Bridge was a life-long Parkman resident, a teacher, and a Grange member. She passed away in 2011 at the age of 102. Since then, the Parkman Grange has awarded a total of $18,000 in scholarships in her memory. This is funded entirely by donations. The Parkman Prowlers ATV Club will be having a drawing on Sunday, September 15th for a Smith and Wesson 22 Caliber LR gun and a bench with bears on it. Raffle tickets for each drawing are available at the Parkman Town Office. Tickets are $5.00 each or 3 for $10.00.
The Parkman Prowlers ATV Club will meet on Monday, September 16th at 5:30 p.m. in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office. It is a potluck, and all are welcome to attend.
The Parkman Town Office will be CLOSED on Thursday, September 19th so the staff can attend a MOSES training.
The Parkman Town Office will be CLOSING at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, September 23rd so staff can attend a live webinar training.
The Transfer Station is open Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to Noon. Please note that Wednesday, September 25th will be the last day the Transfer Station will be open on Wednesdays this year. Please have your Transfer Station sticker visible to the attendants.

White’s Family Redemption is open Tuesday through Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. They are closed on Sunday and Monday. They can be reached at (207) 876-2681 for questions and they will take bottles and cans on days they are closed if you call ahead.
The Parkman Baptist Church holds worship services every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome to attend.
When doing a private sale, if there are two names on the prior title you must have both signatures on the back of the title to register the vehicle. If you are doing a title in two names at time of registration, both parties must be present to sign the title in front of the clerk. Please note that all vehicles 1999 or newer require a title.
The Parkman Trailblazers are having a Gun Raffle. Tickets are $10.00 each or 3 for $20.00. Tickets are available at the Parkman Town Office. The drawing will be held on October 31, 2024.
All unpaid 2024 property taxes begin accruing interest of 8.5% on October 1, 2024.
The Cambridge Community Clothes Closet is open the first and third Wednesday of each month from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and the first and third Saturday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to Noon.
