The Bicentennial Committee will meet on Tuesday, March 1st at 5:30 p.m. in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office. Please attend this important planning meeting for the 200th Birthday Celebration that will take place on Saturday, July 23, 2022.
The Parkman Grange will meet on Tuesday, March 1st at 5:00 p.m. at Don Pepin’s house, 515 Harlow Pond Road. All are invited to attend. Call Sue at 277-3942 for more information.
The Planning Board will meet on Thursday, March 3rd at 6:00 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
The Parkman Trailblazers Snowmobile Club will meet on Tuesday, March 8th at 6:00 p.m. in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office.
SAD #4 will have an Early Release Day on Thursday, March 10th at 11:30 a.m., and there is NO school on Friday, March 11th as it is a Teacher Workshop Day.
The Board of Selectmen will meet on Thursday, March 10th and Thursday, March 24th at 5:30 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, March 9th at 5:30 p.m. in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office regarding options for the future of the Parkman Transfer Station.
Remember to Spring Ahead on Sunday, March 13th at 2:00 a.m. Set your clocks ahead one hour.
The annual Town Meeting for the Town of Parkman will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at the Parkman Grange Hall. The Registrar of Voters will be at the Parkman Grange Hall at 10:00 a.m. Please bring your annual Town Report with you to the Town Meeting. The reports will be available around March 12th at the Parkman Town Office, KC’s Country Store, and the Transfer Station. The Parkman Grange will host a Town Meeting lunch around noon. The lunch is by donation and all proceeds go to the Grange.
Just a friendly reminder that all motorcycles expire March 31st.

Proof of insurance is required to register all vehicles. The Town Office accepts electronic proof of insurance, or you can have your insurance agent fax proof to 876-9704 or email proof to townofparkman@yahoo.com.
The Transfer Station is open Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to Noon. Please have your Transfer Station sticker visible to the attendants inside of your vehicle. If you do not have a sticker, please contact the Town Office at 876-3730.
The Bureau of Motor Vehicles Bangor branch has moved from the Airport Mall to 396 Griffin Road, Suite 202 in Bangor.
Fire permits can be obtained at KC’s Country Store from Pam Sukis: 876-4111, and from Danny White at 85 Crow Hill Road: 876-2681.
The Parkman Baptist Church hold worship services every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome to attend.
The Bicentennial Committee has 2022 Calendars for sale at the Parkman Town Office and at KC’s Country Store. They are $15.00 each. They also have Town of Parkman hooded sweatshirts available for purchase at the Parkman Town Office. They are $25.00 each. All proceeds will go toward the 200th Celebration for the Town of Parkman.
Minnie Bridge Scholarship applications will be available at the Town Meeting, and then at the Town Offices of SAD #4 (Abbot, Cambridge, Guilford, Parkman, Sangerville, and Wellington). This $500 scholarship is open to second year + college, technical, and community college students. The deadline for applications is Thursday, June 30, 2022. Please mail application and all required materials to Parkman Grange #305, PO BOX 114, Guilford, ME 04443.
If you need a certified copy of a birth, death, or marriage certificate please call ahead to the Parkman Town Office at 876-3730. The fee is $15.00 for one copy, and $6.00 for any additional copies of the same record requested at the same time.

White’s Family Redemption: Open Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Closed Sunday and Monday. They are located on the Crow Hill Road in Parkman. 876-2681.
When doing a private sale, if there are two names on the prior title you must have both signatures on the back of the title to register the vehicle. If you are doing a title in two names at the time of registration, both parties must be present to sign the title in front of the clerk.
Inland Fisheries and Wildlife requires patrons to bring in a valid driver’s license or unexpired State ID when obtaining a Hunting/Fishing license, snowmobile registrations, ATV registrations, and boat registrations.
The Sangerville Food Cupboard (Universalist Unitarian Church) is open the first and third Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. All are welcome. They are located at the corner of Church and Main Street in downtown Sangerville. For more information, please call 277-4221.
The Moose permit applications are now available online at www.maine.gov/ifw. The deadline for completion is by 11:59 p.m. on May 12, 2022. The Moose Lottery drawing will be held in June of 2022.
The fee for a marriage license is $40.00. Marriage applications are valid 90 days from issue. Both the bride and groom must sign the application in the presence of a clerk at the Parkman Town Office. If this is not your first marriage, please bring in a copy of your divorce decree or a death certificate when completing the application. Please note that you must call the Parkman Town Office at 876-3730 to schedule an appointment to obtain your marriage license.
