The Parkman Prowlers will meet on Tuesday, August 4th at 6:00 p.m. in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office.
The Planning Board will meet on Thursday, August 6th at 6:00 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
The Board of Selectmen will meet on Thursday, August 13th and Thursday, August 27th at 6:00 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
Building permits are available at the Parkman Town Office, free of charge.
Fire permits can be obtained at KC’s Country Store from Pam Sukis: 876-4111, and from Danny White at 85 Crow Hill Road: 876-2681.
The Bureau of Motor Vehicles in Bangor has reopened by appointment only. The number to schedule an appointment is 942-1319.
Proof of insurance is required to register all vehicles. The Town Office accepts electronic proof of insurance or you can have your insurance agent fax proof to 876-9704 or email proof to townofparkman@yahoo.com.
Minnie Bridge Scholarship applications are available at the Parkman Town Office for 2nd year college students from Parkman. $500 scholarships will be awarded. The deadline for entries is August 14, 2020.
The Transfer Station is open on Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to Noon. Please follow social distancing guidelines at the Transfer Station. Please have your Transfer Station sticker visible to the attendants inside of your vehicle. If you do not have a sticker, please call 876-3730 so we can mail you one or stop by the Parkman Town Office during business hours to get one. They are free of charge.

The 2020 Any-Deer Permit Application is available online at www.mefishwildlife.com. The deadline for entries is August 17, 2020 by 11:59 p.m. A chance drawing will be held in September.
White’s Family Redemption is open Tuesday through Friday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. They are closed Sunday and Monday. They are located on the Crow Hill Road. Please call 876-2681 outside of business hours.
Boat registrations DO NOT require a title. If you are registering a boat for the first time, please bring in a bill of sale or proof of sales tax from a dealer at time of registration. Registration fee is based on length of boat and horsepower.
ATV registrations DO NOT require a title. If you are registering an ATV for the first time, please bring in a bill of sale or proof of sales tax from a dealer at time of registration. The fee for a new ATV is $47.00 for Maine residents and $92.00 for non-residents. The fee for a renewal is $46.00 for Maine residents and $91.00 for non-residents. There is also a non-resident 7-day registration; the fee is $76.00.
If you need a certified copy of a birth, death, or marriage certificate please call ahead to the Parkman Town Office at 876-3730. The fee is $15.00 for one copy, and $6.00 for any additional copies of the same record requested at the same time.
The fee for a marriage license is $40.00. Marriage applications are valid 90 days from issue. Both the bride and groom must sign the application in the presence of a clerk at the Parkman Town Office. If this is not your first marriage, please bring a copy of your divorce decree or death certificate when completing the application. Please note that you must call the Parkman Town Office at 876-3730 to schedule an appointment to obtain your marriage license.
All unpaid 2020 property taxes begin accruing interest of 9% on October 1, 2020.
