The first ATV Meeting for the Parkman Prowlers will be held on Tuesday, April 2nd at 6:00 p.m. in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office.
The Parkman Grange will meet on Tuesday, April 2nd at 6:00 p.m. at the Parkman Grange Hall. New members are always welcome. Come join them as they plan events for the year.
The Planning Board will meet on Thursday, April 4th at 7:00 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
The Parkman Grange will be hosting their 7th Annual Daddy/Daughter dance on Saturday, April 6th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Parkman Grange Hall. This event is for girls age 13 and under and that special man in her life. Tickets are $5.00 per person and will be available at the door. They will have a DJ spinning tunes, having dance contests, and giving out prizes. A photo shoot will give you a keepsake photo. Light refreshments will be served. Bring your little one in her favorite party dress, and Dads make sure you are spiffy too!
The Board of Selectmen will meet on Thursday, April 11th and Thursday, April 25th at 6:00 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
“Winner Winner Chicken Dinner”: Team Mucking Strong is hosting a benefit dinner for Multiple Sclerosis on Saturday, April 13th at 4:30 p.m. at the Parkman Grange Hall. The dinner is by donation with 100% of donations going to support the life-changing work of the National MS Society. If you are unable to attend this event and would like to donate please go to www.nationalmssociety.org/donate and choose a participant.
The Parkman Town Office will be CLOSED on Monday, April 15th in observance of Patriots Day.
SAD #4 school vacation week is April 15th through April 19th.
White’s Family Redemption is back to regular hours, Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. They are located on the Crow Hill Road. Please call 876-2681 outside of business hours.
The 2019 Boat Registrations are available. If you are registering a boat for the first time, please bring in a bill of sale at time of registration. Registration fee is based on length of boat and horsepower. Boats DO NOT require a title.
Building permits are available at the Parkman Town Office and online at www.parkmanmaine.com.

The Parkman Baptist Church is hosting a free movie “Paul, the Apostle” on Friday, April 19th at 6:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served at intermission.
The Parkman Baptist Church will have an Easter Egg Hunt for children on Easter Sunday, April 21st at 9:45 a.m. with coffee and pastries for adults. Easter services will begin at 10:15 a.m. There will be special music and testimonies. Children will hear the real story of Easter and make a take-home craft. All are welcome to attend.
The Transfer Station is open on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to Noon. Beginning Wednesday, May 1st the Transfer Station will be open on Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. through the end of September.
If you need a certified copy of a birth, death, or marriage certificate please call ahead to the Parkman Town Office at 876-3730. The fee is $15.00 for one copy, and $6.00 for any additional copies of the same record requested at the same time.

Proof of insurance is required to register all vehicles. The Town Office accepts electronic proof of insurance or you can have your insurance agent fax proof to 876-9704.
The deadline for the online Maine Moose Permit Lottery is 11:59 p.m. on May 15, 2019. To apply please go to www.mefishwildlife.com. The Moose Permit drawing will be held in mid-June.
The Parkman Grange is now accepting reservations for the 19th Annual Mother’s Day Tea on Saturday, May 11th from 10:00 a.m. to Noon. It has become a tradition for locals, a time to reconnect with family and friends after a long winter, and to celebrate Moms. Tickets are $5.00 per person. Reservations are required, please contact Sue Manchester at 277-3942 to reserve your seat. Keep in mind that seating is limited.
Minnie Bridge Scholarship applications are available at the Parkman Town Office for 2nd year college students from Parkman. $500 scholarships will be awarded. The deadline for entries is June 15, 2019.
The Town of Parkman will be celebrating 200 years in 3 years. It is never too early to start planning this big celebration. There is a sign-up sheet at the Parkman Town Office for anyone interested in joining the Committee. The first brainstorming meeting will take place on Monday, May 13th at 6:00 p.m. in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office.
The Unitarian Universalist Church of Sangerville and Dover-Foxcroft Food Cupboard is open the 1st Wednesday and 3rd Wednesday each month from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. All are welcome. They are located at 130 Main Street in Sangerville (corner Church Street and Main Street).
The Parkman Baptist Church holds worship services every Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome to attend.
