The Parkman Grange will meet on Wednesday, March 6th at 5:00 p.m. at a Grange Member’s home. For more information please contact Sue Manchester at 277-3942.
The Planning Board will meet on Thursday, March 7th at 7:00 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
Remember to Spring Ahead on Sunday, March 10th at 2:00 a.m. Set your clocks ahead one hour.
The Parkman Trailblazers will meet on Tuesday, March 12th at 6:00 p.m. at Wayne Libby’s house, 15 Libby Lane in Parkman off of the Crow Hill Road.
The annual Town Meeting for Parkman will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the Parkman Grange Hall. The Registrar of Voters will be at the Parkman Grange Hall at 10:00 a.m. Please bring your annual Town Report with you to the Town Meeting. The reports are anticipated to be available by March 8th at the Parkman Town Office, KC’s Country Store, and the Transfer Station. There will be a Town Meeting dinner from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., put on by the Grange. Menu will include chicken pot pie, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, beans, veggies, and assorted desserts. Admission for the dinner is by donation.
Just a friendly reminder that all motorcycles expire March 31st.
The Board of Selectmen will meet on Thursday, March 14th and Thursday, March 28th at 6:00 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
There is a State Law (29 MRSA 2396) that prohibits pushing of snow into the public way. A person may not place and allow to remain on a public way snow or slush that has not accumulated there naturally.
The little winter sand shed by the old barn at the Parkman Town Office is for Parkman residents ONLY. Please limit sand to 2 five-gallon buckets per storm.
Proof of insurance is required to register all vehicles. The Town Office accepts electronic proof of insurance or you can have your insurance agent fax proof to 876-9704.

White’s Family Redemption hours are 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. every day except Monday. Pick ups are available for a small fee. Please call outside of business hours, 876-2681.
The deadline for the online Maine Moose Permit Lottery is 11:59 p.m. on May 15, 2019. To apply please go to www.mefishwildlife.com. The Moose Permit drawing will be held in mid-June.
The Town of Parkman will be celebrating 200 years in 3 years. It is never too early to start planning this big celebration. There is a sign-up sheet at the Parkman Town Office, and there will be one at Town Meeting for anyone interested in joining the Committee. The first brainstorming meeting will take place on Monday, May 13th at 6:00 p.m. in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office.

The Parkman Baptist Church holds worship services every Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome to attend.
The Unitarian Universalist Church of Sangerville and Dover-Foxcroft Food Cupboard is open the 1st Wednesday and 3rd Wednesday each month from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. All are welcome. They are located at 130 Main Street in Sangerville (corner Church Street and Main Street).
If you need a certified copy of a birth, death, or marriage certificate please call ahead to the Parkman Town Office at 876-3730. The fee is $15.00 for one copy, and $6.00 for any additional copies of the same record requested at the same time.
