As of October 1st, all unpaid property taxes are accruing interest of 7%.
The Parkman Grange will meet on Tuesday, October 2nd at 6:00 p.m. at the Parkman Grange Hall. All are welcome to attend. Please call Sue Manchester at 277-3942 for more information.
The Parkman Prowlers will be holding a landowner Potluck on Tuesday, October 2nd at 5:30 p.m. in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office. The last ATV meeting of the year will be held following the supper. The meetings will resume monthly in April of 2019.
The Parkman Town Office will be closed on Wednesday, October 3rd and Thursday, October 4th for the annual MMA Convention.
The Planning Board will meet on Thursday, October 4th at 7:00 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
The Parkman Town Office will be closed on Monday, October 8th in observance of Columbus Day.
The Transfer Station is no longer open on Wednesdays. They are open Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to Noon.
The Parkman Town Office will be closed on Tuesday, October 16th and Wednesday, October 17th for an Elections Workshop.
The Board of Selectmen will meet on Thursday, October 11th and Thursday, October 25th at 6:00 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
If you need a certified copy of a birth, death, or marriage certificate, please call ahead to the Parkman Town Office at 876-3730. The fee is $15 for one copy, and $6.00 for any additional copies of the same record requested at the same time.
5 Guns in 5 Minutes Gun Raffle Tickets are available at KC’s Country Store, Herring Brothers, Lovell Hardware, the Parkman Town Office, and Mountain Sporting Goods in Dover-Foxcroft which has guns on display. Tickets are $10.00. Winners will be chosen at the Hunter’s Supper on November 17th at the Parkman Grange Hall.

The 2019 Dog Licenses will available on Monday, October 15th. The fee for a male/female is $11.00, and $6.00 for a spayed or neutered dog. All dogs must be licensed by January 31, 2019 or a $25.00 state mandated late fee will apply. Reminder letters will go out in the mail for dog license by mid-October, and each letter will have a reminder if we need your dog’s current rabies certificate.
The 2018-2019 Hunting Law books are now available at the Parkman Town Office.

The Parkman Baptist Church holds worship services every Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome to attend.
Youth Hunting day is Saturday, October 20, 2018. Hunting with firearms begins on Saturday, October 27th for Maine residents and October 29th for all hunters. The last day of hunting season for firearms is November 24th.
The Parkman Baptist Church and the Parkman Grange will be holding a TRUNK OR TREAT on Wednesday, October 31st from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Kids and their parents are welcome to come get treats. This event will be held at the Parkman Baptist Church.

Proof of insurance is required to register vehicles. The Town Office accepts electronic proof of insurance or you can have your insurance agent fax proof to 876-9704.

One World Community Café serves a healthy lunch every Wednesday at Noon at the Guilford Methodist Church in Guilford. All are welcome to attend.
The Unitarian Universalist Church of Sangerville and Dover-Foxcroft Food Cupboard is open the 1st Wednesday at 3rd Wednesday each month from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. All are welcome. They are located at 130 Main Street in Sangerville (corner Church Street and Main Street).
The Referendum Election will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. Polls will open at 8:00 a.m. and close at 8:00 p.m. Voting will take place in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office. Absentee ballots will be available on October 5th. The Parkman Town Office will be CLOSED for business on Election Day.
There will be a Rabies Clinic on Saturday, November 10th from 10:00 a.m. to Noon at the Cambridge Town Hall. Area residents are welcome to bring their animals for shots. The fee for a Rabies vaccination is $15.00. Persons presenting animals are expected to clean up after their pets, inside and outside the building.
