The Parkman Prowlers will meet on Tuesday, September 4th at 6:00 p.m. in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office.
The Parkman Grange will meet on Tuesday, September 4th at 6:00 p.m. at the Parkman Grange Hall. All are welcome to attend. Please call Sue Manchester at 277-3942 for more information.
The Planning Board will meet on Thursday, September 6th at 7:00 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
All unpaid 2018 property taxes begin accruing interest of 7% on October 1, 2018.
The Transfer Station is open on Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to Noon. Please note that Wednesday, September 26th will be the last day the Transfer Station will be open on Wednesdays this year.
The Board of Selectmen will meet on Thursday, September 13th and Thursday, September 27th at 6:00 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
The Parkman Grange will be having a Military Appreciation Supper on Saturday, September 22nd from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The meal will be by donation for supporters and free to active and retired military. The menu is TBA.

The Parkman Baptist Church holds worship services every Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome to attend.

According to Maine law, all hunters must complete Hunter Education Certification in order to acquire a hunting license, unless they can furnish proof of having possessed an adult license to hunt with firearms in 1976 or any year earlier. In order to buy a license, Maine requires that first-time hunters must complete a course approved by the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife and IHEA-USA. PVAEC will be hosting a Firearm Hunter Safety class in September. Space is limited. For more information, or to register, go to https://pvaec.coursestorm.com.
5 Guns in 5 Minutes Gun Raffle Tickets are available at KC’s Country Store, Herring Brothers, Lovell Hardware, the Parkman Town Office, and Mountain Sporting Goods in Dover-Foxcroft which has guns on display. Tickets are $10.00. Winners will be chosen at the Hunter’s Supper on November 17th at the Parkman Grange Hall.

If you need a certified copy of a birth, death, or marriage certificate, please call ahead to the Parkman Town Office at 876-3730. The fee is $15 for one copy, and $6.00 for any additional copies of the same record requested at the same time.
Proof of insurance is required to register vehicles. The Town Office accepts electronic proof of insurance or you can have your insurance agent fax proof to 876-9704.
White’s Family Redemption is open Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. They are located at 85 Crow Hill Road. 876-2681.
The fee for a marriage license is $40.00. Marriage applications are valid 90 days from issue. Both the bride and groom must sign the application in the presence of a clerk at the Parkman Town Office. If this isn’t your first marriage, please bring a copy of your divorce decree or death certificate when completing the application. Please note that you must call the Parkman Town Office at 876-3730 to schedule an appointment to obtain your marriage license.
