The Parkman Town Office will be CLOSED Monday, July 2nd through Friday, July 6, 2018.
The Parkman Prowlers will meet on Tuesday, July 3rd at 6:00 p.m. in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office.
The Transfer Station will be CLOSED on Wednesday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day. The Transfer Station will be OPEN on Thursday, July 5th from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The Transfer Station is also open every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to Noon.
One World Community Café with be having their Opening Day on Wednesday, July 4th at the Guilford Methodist Church in Guilford from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A healthy lunch will be served at Noon. All are welcome to attend. This will continue every Wednesday at the same time and location.
The Planning Board will meet on Thursday, July 5th at 7:00 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
The Parkman Grange will meet on Tuesday, July 10th at 6:00 p.m. at the Parkman Grange Hall. All are welcome to attend.
The 2018 tax bills will be mailed on Tuesday, July 10, 2018. There will be a 2% discount on tax bills paid in full within 30 days of postmark (August 10, 2018). Interest of 7% will begin accruing October 1, 2018.
Time Lab Summer Bible Club will meet on Thursday, July 12 and Thursday, July 19th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Parkman Baptist Church. It is for kids ages 5 to 12 featuring music, drama, crafts, outdoor games, snacks, prizes, and Bible Stories. This is a free program open to all children in the community. The American Red Cross will be holding a Blood Drive on Saturday, July 21st from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office.
The Board of Selectmen will meet on Thursday, July 26th at 6:00 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
ATV registrations expire on June 30, 2018. If this is a renewal and you can’t make it in during business hours, it can be done by mail by sending a check made payable to Town of Parkman for $34.00 for Maine residents and $69.00 for non-residents. Please remember to include a self-addressed stamped envelope. The address for the Town of Parkman is 771 State Hwy 150, Parkman, Maine 04443. If you are registering your ATV for the first time, please bring in a bill of sale or proof of sales tax from a dealer. ATV’s DO NOT require a title.
Boat registrations DO NOT require a title. If you are registering a boat for the first time, please bring in a bill of sale or proof of sales tax from a dealer at time of registration. Registration fee is based on length of boat and horsepower.
Building permits are available at the Parkman Town Office and online at www.parkmanmaine.com.

The Parkman Grange Hall is available for rent for your special event or function. Please contact Don Pepin at 343-0274 for more information.
If you need a certified copy of a birth, death, or marriage certificate, please call ahead to the Parkman Town Office at 876-3730. The fee is $15.00 for one copy, and $6.00 for any additional copies of the same record requested at the same time.

The Parkman Baptist Church holds worship services every Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome to attend.
5 Guns in 5 Minutes Gun Raffle Tickets are now available at KC’s Country Store, Herring Brothers, Lovell Hardware, the Parkman Town Office, and Mountain Sporting Goods in Dover-Foxcroft which has guns on display. Tickets are $10.00.

Proof of insurance is required to register vehicles. The Town Office accepts electronic proof of insurance or you can have your insurance agent fax proof to 876-9704.
Attention Musicians: Open jam every Sunday outside at the Red Maple in Guilford from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. weather permitting. Bring your instruments, bring your voice, or just come have fun and listen. Any questions please call 277-3540.
The Town of Parkman is looking for people to join the Cemetery Committee. If you are interested there is a sign-up sheet in the Parkman Town Office or call the office at 876-3730.
The fee for a marriage license is $40.00. Marriage applications are valid 90 days from issue. Both the bride and groom must sign the application in the presence of a clerk at the Parkman Town Office. If this isn’t your first marriage, please bring a copy of your divorce decree or death certificate when completing the application. Please note that you must call the Parkman Town Office at 876-3730 to schedule an appointment to obtain your marriage license.
