The Planning Board will meet on Thursday, August 2nd at 7:00 p.m.
The Minnie Bridge Scholarship supper will be held on Saturday, August 4th at 4:30 p.m. Congratulations to Ethan Cooley, Kolby Kain, and Ben Morrill! Each one will be awarded a $500 scholarship from the Minnie Bridge Scholarship fund. The public is invited to come enjoy the meal. The menu includes smoked pork loin, hot dogs and beans, summer salads, cake, and ice cream. Meal is by donation to the scholarship fund.
The Parkman Prowlers will meet on Tuesday, August 7th at 6:00 p.m. in the lower level of the Parkman Town Office.
The Parkman Grange will meet on Tuesday, August 7th at 6:00 p.m. at the Parkman Grange Hall. Come join them in planning for a busy fall season, including the Military Appreciation Supper on September 22nd, Hunter’s Supper on November 17th, Halloween Party, Young Reader’s Program and more.
The 2% discount for all 2018 property taxes paid in full ends on Friday, August 10, 2018. Interest of 7% begins accruing on October 1, 2018.
The Parkman Baptist Church will be having a Pulled Pork BBQ and concert on Saturday, August 11th beginning at 4:00 p.m. at the Parkman Baptist Church. The Board of Selectmen will meet on Thursday, August 9th and Thursday, August 23rd at 6:00 p.m. in the library of the Parkman Town Office.
The Parkman Baptist Church will be holding a free community movie “Sheffy” on Friday, August 17th at 6:00 p.m. at the Parkman Baptist Church. This full-length movie is based on the life of Robert Sheffy, a circuit-riding preacher in the 1800s. Refreshments will be served during intermission.

The 2018 Any-Deer Permit Application is available online at www.mefishwildlife.com. The deadline for entries is August 15, 2018 by 11:59 p.m. A chance drawing will be held on September 7, 2018.
The Parkman Baptist Church will be holding an Old Home Sunday Bicentennial Service on Sunday, August 19th at 1:00 p.m. at the Parkman Baptist Church. John Kasten of Crosspoint Church in Bangor will be the Guest Speaker. Special music, costumes visitor “from the past,” and cake and punch reception to follow. Everyone is welcome to attend.

If you need a certified copy of a birth, death, or marriage certificate, please call ahead to the Parkman Town Office at 876-3730. The fee is $15 for one copy, and $6.00 for any additional copies of the same record requested at the same time.
Attention Musicians: Open Jam every Sunday outside at the Red Maple in Guilford from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., weather permitting. Bring your instruments, bring your voice, or just come to have fun and listen. Any questions please call 277-3540.

Boat registrations DO NOT require a title. If you are registering a boat for the first time, please bring in a bill of sale or proof of sales tax from a dealer at time of registration. Registration fee is based on length of boat and horsepower.
ATV registrations DO NOT require a title. If you are registering your ATV for the first time, please bring in a bill of sale or proof of sales tax from a dealer at time of registration. The fee for a new ATV is $35.00 for Maine residents, and $70 for non-residents. The fee for a renewal is $34.00 for Maine residents and $69.00 for non-residents.
The Transfer Station is open on Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to Noon.
The first day of school is Tuesday, August 28, 2018. Please remember to be on the lookout for school buses as they stop frequently, especially on Route 150.

5 Guns in 5 Minutes Gun Raffle Tickets are available at KC’s Country Store, Herring Brothers, Lovell Hardware, the Parkman Town Office, and Mountain Sporting Goods in Dover-Foxcroft which has guns on display. Tickets are $10.00.
The fee for a marriage license is $40.00. Marriage applications are valid 90 days from issue. Both the bride and groom must sign the application in the presence of a clerk at the Parkman Town Office. If this isn’t your first marriage, please bring a copy of your divorce decree or death certificate when completing the application. Please note that you must call the Parkman Town Office at 876-3730 to schedule an appointment to obtain your marriage license.
White’s Family Redemption is open Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. They are located at 85 Crow Hill Road. 876-2681.
Proof of insurance is required to register vehicles. The Town Office accepts electronic proof of insurance or you can have your insurance agent fax proof to 876-9704.
One World Community Café serves a healthy lunch every Wednesday at Noon at the Guilford Methodist Church in Guilford. All are welcome to attend.

The Unitarian Universalist Church of Sangerville and Dover-Foxcroft Food Cupboard is open the 1st Wednesday and 3rd Wednesday each month from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. All are welcome. They are located at 130 Main Street in Sangerville (corner Church Street and Main Street).
