The Bicentennial Committee would like to thank everyone who helped make the Bicentennial Celebration a huge success. It was a few years in the making with a small committee, and people seemed to really enjoy the day and evening despite the heat. Thank you to Kirk Kimball for hosting the event, all the crafters who came out, food vendors, the Seavy’s for the horse and carriage rides, Guilford Fire Department for touch a firetruck, Travis Easler for making the Bicentennial Cornhole Boards, Bailey Construction for the sand pile and toy trucks, Ray Stafford Trio Band and Dirty Little Secret Band, and the amazing fireworks display. Thank you to the Grange for putting on the Bean supper and housing the Historical events for the day. Thank you to everyone who participated in the parade; it was a huge success as well! Thank you to all the volunteers who stayed out in the brutal heat; it is appreciated beyond words. Our small town really came together, and we are forever grateful for all of you.
