The Board of Selectmen of the Town of Parkman will be accepting bids for the purchase of the municipality’s interest in one tax acquired property.​​ The property is located on Town of Parkman tax map 5 lot 6.​​ ​​ Each bid must be in writing and in a sealed envelope marked “Tax-Acquired Property​​ Bid,​​ “102 Bagley Rd” on the outside. ​​ The Board of Selectmen must receive all bids no later than​​ 5:00p.m. on Thursday, Jan​​ 14, 2021.​​ ​​ Late bids will not be opened or considered. Any bids will require a minimum bid of $10,000.00. ​​​​ Each bid must also include the bidder’s name, mailing address, and phone number and must be accompanied by a deposit in the form of a certified check or money order, in an amount equal to or greater than 10% of the bid price. ​​ Any bid that does not contain the proper deposit will be rejected.​​ Deposits will be returned to ​​ the unsuccessful bidders. ​​​​ The Board of Selectmen reserves the right to reject any and all bids. ​​ The property will be conveyed by a quitclaim deed without covenants that will convey the town’s interest in the property.​​ It is​​ noted that the property​​ includes​​ a​​ building which is occupied.
